Espresso Lago Di Como
Roasted Coffee
Espresso Lago Di Como is a rich, all-Arabica espresso blend built for cafés with a strong milk program. It was made for cappuccinos and lattes, where its almond and cocoa character carries through steamed milk, and it performs just as well in straight espresso or filter service. The blend ships in 340 g and 907 g retail packaging, plus 1 kg and 3 kg bulk formats for higher-volume programs. Micro-roasted in small batches in Montréal, it gives an espresso bar a smooth, dependable base that holds up cup after cup.
Tasting Notes
The cup is rich and smooth, with natural notes of almond and cocoa. As an all-Arabica blend, it carries a rounded sweetness that makes it especially well suited to milk-based drinks.
Origin
Espresso Lago Di Como brings together Arabica from South America and Asia. The blend is formulated for consistency rather than single-origin specificity – each delivery gives your bar the same familiar cup.
Roast
This is a Medium roast, developed to build body and caramelize the coffee's natural sugars for a smooth, rounded character. It suits espresso while keeping enough sweetness to shine through milk.
Brewing
As a general guideline, aim for a 1:16 ratio – roughly 1 gram of coffee to 16 grams of water for a balanced cup – though brew method matters. For a double espresso, use 16–20 g to yield about 60 ml. For drip and filter service, use 8.5 g of coffee per 236.56 ml (8 oz) of water, about 36 g per litre at batch scale.
