Hot Chocolate
Mocha is a coffee-and-chocolate hot chocolate made with Dutch-process cocoa and organic golden cane sugar, with the roasted coffee character of a mocha. The coffee note comes from flavouring rather than brewed coffee. It comes in 15 g single-portion packets, 250 g canisters, and a 1 kg bulk bag, and the milk-free formulation works with any milk or plant-based alternative. The blend is vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free.
Suggested Uses
The mocha profile fits naturally alongside a coffee program and works as a flavoured base for mochas and iced chocolate. Stir in a shot of espresso for a deeper mokaccino. Single-portion packets suit hotel rooms and grab-and-go service; the bulk bag supports high-volume cafés.
Preparation
Add 2 tbsp (15 g) of powder to 250 ml of hot milk and stir or froth to the desired texture. For a Mokaccino, add a shot of espresso. Each 1 kg bag yields roughly 67 servings at the standard ratio.
