Espresso Vigoroso

Espresso Vigoroso is the boldest blend in Terra's Robusto Collection — 65% superior Robusta and 35% Arabica, supplied in 340 g, 907 g, 1 kg and 3 kg formats. The high Robusta share drives a thick, silky crema and a caffeine-rich cup (≈2.5%), built for demanding espresso service. The profile holds across espresso and filter, so a single bean covers both the espresso bar and a batch-brew program.

Tasting Notes

A complex, full-intensity cup with notes of dark chocolate and oak, finished with a silky, tiger-striped crema. It sits at the heavy end of the intensity scale — a forward, weighty shot that carries cleanly through milk-based drinks.

Origin

A blend of South American Arabica with Asian and Indonesian Robusta, selected for body, crema, and caffeine strength rather than single-origin character. Sourcing follows Terra's ethical-sourcing standard, with origin relationships treated as a working value.

Roast

A Medium Roast that builds body and caramelizes the coffee's natural sugars, keeping the cup rounded beneath its intensity. 

Brewing

As a general guideline, aim for a 1:16 ratio – roughly 1 gram of coffee to 16 grams of water for a balanced cup – though brew method matters. For a double espresso, use 16–20 g to yield about 60 ml. For drip and filter service, use 8.5 g of coffee per 236.56 ml (8 oz) of water, about 36 g per litre at batch scale.
