Black Tea
Our whole leaf black tea blended with strawberry bits and rose petals – a fruit-and-flower black tea built for summer service and year-round versatility. Available in 1 kg loose leaf bulk. The cup serves cleanly hot, holds up to ice and a wedge of lemon, and presents well in glass for iced tea programs. The visible botanicals in the leaf signal craft on a retail display shelf and in a café tea wall.
Tasting Notes
A deep amber red cup, with a sweet strawberry aroma at the front. Ripe strawberry leads, fruit-forward rather than candy-sweet. Rose petals layer in at the middle – a soft floral round-out that gives the cup its character. The black tea base sits underneath: full-bodied, with enough structure to carry the fruit and the floral without flattening. The finish is clean, gently sweet, with a long fruit echo. Iced, the strawberry character lifts further.
Blend
Our base is whole leaf black tea, blended with dried strawberry bits, rose petals, and natural flavour to carry the fruit character through to the finished cup. The pairing of strawberry and rose is a classical floral-fruit combination in tea, perfumery, and pastry – the rose extends the strawberry rather than competing with it, and rounds out what could otherwise read as a one-note flavoured tea. The visible bits and petals in the leaf are a signal of the blend's structure: built from real botanicals rather than from powder or syrup alone.
Brewing
Steep 2.5 g per 250 ml at 95 °C for 3 minutes. Black tea is the most heat-tolerant of the true teas; boiling water works. For iced tea preparations, brew at the same ratio and pour over ice – the strawberry character intensifies as the cup cools. At commercial scale, a 1 kg bag yields about 400 servings. Zero calories per 250 ml serving.
