ARIEL Mandarin Orange

A delicate Chinese white tea blended with mandarin orange and orange blossom, built for menus that want a softer, brighter alternative to citrus-led black or green teas. Tasting Notes

The cup pours a pale honey gold with a bright, citrus-forward aroma. Mandarin orange leads – sweet and round rather than sharp – while orange blossom adds a soft floral lift on the finish. The white tea base carries quietly underneath: light body, low astringency, and the mellow character that distinguishes white tea from the more grassy edge of green tea or the brisker tannins of black.

Blend

The base is whole leaf Chinese white tea. Licorice root and natural flavours carry the mandarin and orange blossom character; orange blossom petals contribute a soft floral note in the cup and the loose blend. White tea is naturally rich in antioxidants and naturally lower in caffeine than green or black tea, which makes this a credible position for guests asking for a softer, less stimulating cup with real citrus character.

Brewing

Steep 2.5 g per 250 ml at 90 °C for 3 ½ minutes. White tea is forgiving across a wider service window than green tea – it tolerates a longer steep without turning bitter, which is operationally useful for high-turn service environments. At commercial scale, a 1 kg bag yields approximately 400 portions at 2.5 g per cup. Each 250 ml serving contains zero calories.
