White Tea

A delicate Chinese white tea blended with whole jasmine buds and rose petals, built for menus that want a refined floral position with visible craft in the cup. Available in 24-count compostable pyramid tea bags for service simplicity and in 1 kg loose leaf bulk for foodservice operations running by the cup. The cup reads as light and aromatic, with the floral character carried by real botanicals rather than added flavours alone.

Tasting Notes

The cup pours a pale honey gold with a layered floral aroma. Jasmine leads at the front – soft and sweet, the way fresh jasmine reads rather than the heavier scented-tea version – while rose contributes a rounder, deeper floral note through the middle. The white tea base carries quietly underneath: light body, low astringency, and a clean finish that lets the florals stay distinct rather than blurring together.

Blend

The base is whole leaf Chinese white tea. Whole jasmine buds and rose petals are blended directly into the leaf – not scented in or added as flavour alone, but present as visible botanicals in the cup and the loose blend. The floral pairing has a long history in Chinese tea preparation, where jasmine and rose are paired as complementary aromatics: jasmine for lift, rose for depth. White tea is naturally rich in antioxidants and naturally lower in caffeine than green or black tea, which makes this a credible position for an afternoon or evening service window.

Brewing

Steep 2.5 g per 250 ml at 90 °C for 3 ½ minutes. White tea is forgiving across a wider service window than green tea – it tolerates a longer steep without turning bitter, which is operationally useful for high-turn service environments. At commercial scale, a 1 kg bag yields approximately 400 portions at 2.5 g per cup. Each 250 ml serving contains zero calories.
