About Ginseng Oolong
Ginseng Oolong is a style of oolong tea known for its smooth, rounded character attributed to the ginseng-influenced processing. The tightly rolled pellets are characteristic of lightly oxidised Chinese and Taiwanese oolongs, expanding in the cup and yielding multiple steeps when desired. It is a well-recognised menu tea with broad guest appeal.
Brewing
Steep 2.5 g per 200 ml at 95 °C for 3 to 4 minutes. The rolled pellets can be re-steeped; subsequent steeps are lighter and sweeter. At 2.5 g per portion, a 1 kg bag yields approximately 400 portions.
