Roasted Coffee
Maple Coffee is a velvety-smooth Arabica coffee with a sweet, golden maple flavour, freshly flavoured on demand so every batch arrives fresh and aromatic. Part of Terra's Aroma Terra line of flavoured coffees, it is a cozy, crowd-pleasing option for cafés and offices that want a warm, dessert-style coffee on the menu. Micro-roasted in small batches in Montréal and flavoured to order, it gives a flavoured-coffee program a smooth, dependable base, available in a 1 kg and 3 kg bulk bags.
Tasting Notes
The cup is smooth and velvety, layered with the sweet, warm flavour of golden maple. Because it is flavoured on demand rather than pre-flavoured, the maple character stays fresh and aromatic, with a cozy, lightly sweet finish that works on its own or with milk.
Origin
The high-grown beans give a clean, smooth cup that takes the maple flavouring well.
Brewing
As a general guideline, aim for a 1:16 ratio – roughly 1 gram of coffee to 16 grams of water for a balanced cup. For drip and filter service, use 8.5 g of coffee per 236.56 ml (8 oz) of water, about 36 g per litre at batch scale.
