Le Parisien
Roasted Coffee
Le Parisien is a well-rounded house blend built to please a full room. It brings together eight different coffees roasted across three levels, balanced for a smooth, approachable filter cup that suits high-volume café and office service. The blend ships in 340 g and 907 g retail packaging, plus 1 kg and 3 kg bulk formats for sale by the cup or internal use. Roasted in small batches in Montréal, it gives a filter program a dependable, crowd-pleasing everyday coffee.
Tasting Notes
The cup is balanced and well-rounded, with no single note dominating – an easy, everyday coffee that works for a wide range of palates. It is built for filter and drip service, where its smoothness and consistency hold up batch after batch.
Origin
Le Parisien draws on coffees from South America, Asia, and Africa, blended for balance rather than the character of any single origin. The recipe is maintained for a consistent, repeatable cup season to season – a practical advantage for a high-turnover filter program.
Roast
Le Parisien is blended across three roast levels – roughly 60% lighter, 30% medium, and 10% dark – which is what gives it its well-rounded, balanced character. The lighter portion keeps the cup bright and approachable, while the darker beans add body and depth.
Brewing
As a general guideline, aim for a 1:16 ratio – roughly 1 gram of coffee to 16 grams of water for a balanced cup. For drip and filter service, use 8.5 g of coffee per 236.56 ml (8 oz) of water, about 36 g per litre at batch scale.
