Le Côte Ouest

Roasted Coffee

Size

Great for trying a roast or for lower weekly coffee use.

Grind

Whole beans for grinding fresh at home. Best flavour and flexibility for any brew method.

Le Côte Ouest is a bold, West Coast-style dark roast for cafés and restaurants that want a sharp, smoky house coffee with a clean, lighter body. Built on South American Arabica and roasted dark, it pours as a distinctive filter coffee with a recognizable West Coast character. The blend ships in 340 g and 907 g retail bags, plus 1 kg and 3 kg bulk formats for higher-volume programs. Roasted in small batches in Montréal, it gives a filter program a bold, consistent everyday option.

Tasting Notes

The cup leads with natural smoky and sharp notes over a light, clean body. It is a bold, distinctive everyday coffee – a clear reference point for staff describing a dark, West Coast-style roast on a menu.

Origin

Le Côte Ouest is built on South American Arabica, selected to take a dark roast cleanly while keeping the cup bright and sharp rather than heavy. The blend is maintained for a consistent, repeatable cup season to season.

Roast

This is a Dark roast, taken far enough to bring out smoky, sharp notes while keeping a clean, light body. The result is a bold cup with West Coast character that stays crisp rather than heavy.

Brewing

As a general guideline, aim for a 1:16 ratio – roughly 1 gram of coffee to 16 grams of water for a balanced cup. For drip and filter service, use 8.5 g of coffee per 236.56 ml (8 oz) of water, about 36 g per litre at batch scale.
