Hawaiian Hazelnut

Hawaiian Hazelnut Cream Coffee is a velvety-smooth Arabica coffee with a creamy, nutty hazelnut flavour and a smooth tropical twist, freshly flavoured on demand so every batch arrives fresh and aromatic. Part of Terra's Aroma Terra line of flavoured coffees, it is an indulgent, crowd-pleasing option for cafés and offices that want a dessert-style coffee on the menu. Micro-roasted in small batches in Montréal and flavoured to order, it gives a flavoured-coffee program a smooth, dependable base, available in 65 g and 320 g retail bags and in bulk 1kg and 3 kg bags.

Tasting Notes

The cup is smooth and velvety, layered with warm, toasted hazelnut and a soft, creamy finish. Because it is flavoured on demand rather than pre-flavoured, the hazelnut character stays fresh and aromatic, with a rounded, lightly sweet finish that works on its own or with milk.

Origin

Hawaiian Hazelnut Cream Coffee is built on an Arabica base. The high-grown beans give a clean, smooth cup that takes the hazelnut-cream flavouring well.

Brewing

As a general guideline, aim for a 1:16 ratio – roughly 1 gram of coffee to 16 grams of water for a balanced cup. For drip and filter service, use 8.5 g of coffee per 236.56 ml (8 oz) of water, about 36 g per litre at batch scale.
