Grand Marnier
Roasted Coffee
Grand Marnier Coffee is a velvety-smooth Arabica coffee with the sweet orange-and-cognac character of Grand Marnier, freshly flavoured on demand so every batch arrives fresh and aromatic. Part of Terra's Aroma Terra line of flavoured coffees, it is a refined, crowd-pleasing option for cafés and offices that want a grown-up, dessert-style coffee on the menu. Micro-roasted in small batches in Montréal and flavoured to order, it gives a flavoured-coffee program a smooth, dependable base, available in 1kg, 3kg bag and in bulk.
Tasting Notes
The cup is smooth and velvety, layered with bright, sweet orange and the warm, oaky note of cognac. Because it is flavoured on demand rather than pre-flavoured, the flavour stays fresh and aromatic, with a refined, lightly sweet finish that works on its own or with milk.
Origin
Grand Marnier Coffee is built on an Arabica base. The high-grown beans give a clean, smooth cup that takes the orange-and-cognac flavouring well.
Brewing
As a general guideline, aim for a 1:16 ratio – roughly 1 gram of coffee to 16 grams of water for a balanced cup. For drip and filter service, use 8.5 g of coffee per 236.56 ml (8 oz) of water, about 36 g per litre at batch scale.
