French Vanilla Hazelnut Decaf Coffee is a velvety-smooth decaffeinated Arabica coffee with a sweet blend of French vanilla and toasted hazelnut, freshly flavoured on demand so every batch arrives fresh and aromatic. Part of Terra's Aroma Terra line of flavoured coffees, it is an indulgent, crowd-pleasing decaf for cafés and offices that want a dessert-style cup later in the day. Micro-roasted in small batches in Montréal and flavoured to order, it gives a flavoured-coffee program a smooth, dependable decaf base, available in 1kg, 3kg bag and in bulk.
Tasting Notes
The cup is smooth and velvety, layered with sweet, custard-like French vanilla and warm, toasted hazelnut. Because it is flavoured on demand rather than pre-flavoured, the flavour stays fresh and aromatic, with a soft, nutty-sweet finish – all in a decaffeinated cup that works on its own or with milk.
Origin
French Vanilla Hazelnut Decaf Coffee is built on a decaffeinated Arabica base. The high-grown beans give a clean, smooth cup that takes the vanilla-hazelnut flavouring well.
Brewing
As a general guideline, aim for a 1:16 ratio – roughly 1 gram of coffee to 16 grams of water for a balanced cup. For drip and filter service, use 8.5 g of coffee per 236.56 ml (8 oz) of water, about 36 g per litre at batch scale.
