Instant Coffee

Terra's Espresso Style instant freeze-dried coffee is a full-bodied, espresso-character cup ready in seconds, supplied in a 100 g, 5 kg and 25 kg formats for office, hotel, and grab-and-go programs. It is freeze-dried rather than spray-dried (atomized) – a cold-drying process that retains more of the coffee's aroma and flavour than conventional instant. Sugar free, gluten free, milk free, nut free, and vegan, it serves a wide range of dietary needs.

Tasting Notes

A full-bodied, espresso-style cup – richer and more concentrated than standard instant coffee. Made from premium Arabica beans, it rehydrates to a smooth, balanced coffee with a clean finish.

Origin

Arabica and Robusta beans from South America, selected for a consistent, full-bodied profile suited to an espresso-style instant. Sourcing follows Terra's ethical-sourcing standard.

Freeze-Drying

Unlike atomized (spray-dried) instant coffees, this coffee is freeze-dried – cold-dried without exposure to high heat – so it holds more of its aroma and flavour notes through processing. The result is an instant cup that drinks closer to freshly brewed, with a single ingredient and nothing added.

How to Prepare

For a hot espresso cup, add one teaspoon of instant coffee per 35-45 ml of hot water and stir well. For iced coffee (one 8 oz cup), stir one teaspoon with 35-45 ml of hot water; fill a cup with 180 ml ice and 100 ml milk of choice; pour in the coffee and stir; sweeten as desired.
