About Classic Earl Grey

Earl Grey is traditionally a black tea blend scented with bergamot. This version uses a whole leaf sencha green tea base, producing a lighter cup with the same signature bergamot character. The addition of cornflower petals provides visual distinction and a mild floral note that reinforces the bergamot.

Brewing

Steep 2.5 g per 250 ml at 90 °C for 2½ minutes. At this ratio, a 1 kg bag yields approximately 400 portions – a useful baseline for programme planning.
